Rover Collection
The Union Rover range gives you an alternative to traditional backcountry riding. With the Rover Approach Skis, you can now hike up mountains and explore terrain you have not ridden before.
The Rover ski length is only 100cm and wider than traditional split boards. This means that they are much lighter and easier to maneuver and you don't sink down in deeper snow. This is how you use the system.
Make sure you wear your Union Touring Backpack, so you can attach the Rover skis during the ride down. Attach the Rover Quiver Disk to your favorite snowboard.
Attach your Union Expedition bindings to the Rover skis and start climbing, if you hit any icy or slippery hardpack surfaces on the way up, you can attach the Rover Crampons for additional traction and grip.
When you have reached the spot you want to drop in from, simply detach the Expedition bindings from the Rover skis and attach them to the quiver disk. Attach the Rover Skis to the Expedition backpack and drop in. You can now skip the lift cues, and hike to your favorite spot or turn your local mountain into your own backcountry haven.
