The K2 Instrument Snowboard is built for riders who enjoy adapting to the mountain with smooth, spontaneous runs. Designed with a directional shape and featuring K2’s Volume Shift™ technology, this men's snowboard offers a wider waist for reduced toe and heel drag, allowing you to carve clean lines and enjoy a responsive ride. Its 3/4-inch setback and 10mm taper provide excellent float in deeper snow, while the longer tip radius and deeper sidecut underfoot deliver effortless turn initiation and precise edge control.
Underneath, the Instrument features the S1 Core, which blends bamboo, aspen, and paulownia for a combination of strength, dampness, and lightweight performance. Bamboo stringers add durability and snap, while lightweight paulownia in the tip and tail helps reduce swing weight. This is paired with Carbon Torque Forks™, enhancing power transfer and stability by extending carbon stringers in a V-shape from the insert pack to the contact points. The board's ICG™ 10 Biax Glass construction, with tip-to-tail carbon stringers, boosts pop and keeps the ride stable—even at higher speeds.
The Sintered 4000 Base ensures maximum wax absorption, providing relentless glide and durability. Finished with a stone-ground surface, the Instrument snowboard is ready for any conditions, whether you're carving groomers, exploring powder, or hitting side hits.
